The publication was issued on the occasion of the beatification of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, the primate of Poland, and Sister Elżbieta Róża Czacka, founder of Towarzystwo Opieki nad Ociemniałymi (the Society for the Protection of the Blind).
The publication is dedicated to the tragically deceased president of Poland, Prof. Lech Kaczyński. The photographs and text show the entire life of the president – scientist, social and political activist.
The publication was issued on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the first National Congress of Solidarity Delegates in Gdańsk in 1981.
